Vocabulary:  Introduce new vocabulary words tract- pull and assign homework (due Friday)
Introduce new spelling words (lesson 15)
Writing:  Given certain topics, TSW identify the appropriate target audience (Persuasive Writing p.12) Each student will be given a topic and a target audience. Students will write a sentence that appeals to that audience’s point of view.
Reading:  TSW complete plot diagram with the latest events of The New You

Grammar:  TSW identify possessive adjectives in given sentences. 6th and 7th p. 27, ex.1, 8th p. 29, ex. 1 (guided practice)
Spelling:  Review spelling packets (due Thursday)

Writing:  Abby has convinces Gail, “Artemis”, and “Lorna” to give her a new make over.  Suppose that they did not agree?  Pretend that you are Abby and write a persuasive plea to the three older girls to give you a make over (pre-writing plan and rough draft)
